Air Tightness Installation - same procedure as every winter

If you´re building your house in the winter time and you´re still at the level, were your insulation and heating is non-existing, you can´t proceed as you would do normally during the warmer period.

The following chart shows the minimum processing temperatures for various air tightness materials.

Generally speaking, +5° Celsius is the minimum application temperature for the majority of air tightness products.

And please always consider the fact, that all glues and sealants do achieve their best performance level at around +20° Celsius. That means for the moment, that you should bring them preheated to site.
